When Christians Become a Public Nuisance

From Ingrid Schlueter @http://www.sliceoflaodicea.com/

I have reported in the past on several cases of Christians becoming a problem to the public, not for sharing the Gospel, but for obnoxious behavior and selfish disregard for others. One Christian "nightclub" meeting in a church basement got shut down after the noise and hundreds of kids in chains and dog collars convinced the neighbors that the "ministry" was actually an unsavory night spot that was, in fact, requiring a cover charge at the door. After reading the lyrics of one group performing there with the endearing name, "Drown Retarded Children", I salute the police department for shutting down this menace to quality of life. Here we have yet another example of Christians disturbing the peace. Because our culture has trained young people in general to have absolutely no regard for others, it doesn't surprise me that some band was shattering the stillness of the night with their ear splitting shrieks and monosyllabic grunts. The problem was that they were shrieking the name of Jesus. Great testimony, people, when otherwise peaceful neighbors are annoyed into calling the police.
