Going along with Word Faith teacher T. D. Jakes becoming more prominent in mainstream evangelical churches is the issue of Oneness Pentecostalism. Jakes is an adherent of Oneness theology which denies the doctrine of the Trinity and has its roots in a very old heresy known as Sabellianism.
