Guidepost Magazine No Longer Christian

Read article here. Is the Divine the “Spirit-Sophia filling the cosmos”? Sue Monk Kidd has evidently come back home to the Guidepost audience with her contemplative prayer message and mother-god. Her book, Dance of the Dissident Daughter, features “a new and radical incarnation” on page 163. We as human beings are “earth, water, wind, and fire” on page 179. The white buffalo has come to make us powerful women on page 201. Walking with turtles is a “sacred” act…with a big push for “silent time”…all for the essence of the Sacred Feminine. Kidd, like the “evangelical feminists”, sees Galatians 3:28 as foundational for her “journey”. Guidepost recommends her.
